The terms of Whitney in the City texts: what we text, how often, and how to stop.
The program
Whitney in the City texts is the text messaging program of Whitney in the City, a lash and brow studio in New York. We send:
- one text after you call us and we miss your call, with a link to book online;
- replies to conversations you start by texting us;
- information about your appointments when you ask us for it.
We don't send marketing or promotional texts through this program unless you separately agree to receive them. Appointment reminders from Square are sent by Square under its own terms.
How you join
You join by calling our business number (after a missed call you get one informational text) or by texting us. You don't have to agree to texts to book or buy anything.
How often, and what it costs
Message frequency varies. After a missed call you get one text, and you get more only if you reply. Msg & data rates may apply.
Stop and help
Reply STOP at any time to stop. You can also reply QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE. We'll send one message confirming you've opted out, and then no more texts unless you reply START.

AI assistant
Some replies may come from our AI text assistant once we turn it on. It will tell you it's an AI assistant, it answers from our published service information and sends booking links, and it can't book, change or cancel appointments. A person on our team follows up on anything it can't answer.
Your privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. We use your number only to text you about what this program covers.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported on major US carriers.
